General Information

 

Transportation:

• All the mentioned itineraries by 4WD Toyota land Cruiser ( model 2003 ), fully air-conditioned, with maximum of 6 pax per car, all seats are facing forward providing that all guests will have window seats at disposal for all the trip, every 4WD will be equipped with:

Safety: Our team is responsible incase of emergencies and
equipped with First Aid Kit and satellite phone, for
remote and long expeditions Helicopter evacuation is
available at the clients’ expense.
- A complete first Aid Set toghther with vaccines against Scorpions , Snakes , and Vipers are available on board .
Insurance: - All cars and participants joining our tours are insured
against accidents.
- Tour Leader should be notified of any special medical
requirements ( diabetes, blood pressure ).

Day 1
Leaving Cairo behind, we start our 370km journey to Bahariya Oasis. lunch in restaurant, we tour the city; visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Tombs of the Nobles, the Golden Mummies and the English Mountain. We later go off road to bath in the hot spring under the stars. The night is spent in a hotel in Bahariya Oasis, Dinner.

Day 2
Breakfast In Bahariya, start our drive towards the White Desert, we reach Sahari well, where our Camels await us, lunch en route we start our trekk towards the White Desert, and the Mushroom Area, and camp in the White house. Dinner

Day 3
We start exploring the formations, the Santa tree and wind carved sculptors that resemble both Human and Animal Faces. Lunch. We arrive to Agabat area (the wonders area) and Wadi El Nagafi dunes and valley, the night is spent in hole el Chur. Dinner and overnight Camping.

Day 4
After breakfast we move Gebel el Taradir, lunch, climb the mountain, enjoy the sunset and overnight under the bright stars, Camping & Dinner.

Day 5
We head to Gur Hadid and tour of Ghabour area lunch, enjoy the Desert and overnight under the stars, Dinner & Camping.

Day 6
Head towards Farafra Oasis, tour the City, have lunch, visit the Heritage Museum and the Palm Groves, overnight in hotel - Dinner.

Day 7
Head back to Bahariya Oasis, on the way back we visit the Black Desert and the Crystal Mountain, lunch in Bahariya and back to Cairo - dinner and overnight in hotel

Day 8
After breakfast transfer to Cairo Airport and assistance for final departure.

Day 1:
Arrival and assistance by our representative for Visa and Transfer to our hotel. Overnight.

Day 2:
Breakfast, then a drive to Alexandria, we visit the Old Harbor, Catacombs, Roman Museum (lunch in Restaurant), the evening is spent touring the city Dinner & Overnight at our hotel.

Day 3:
Breakfast, Leaving Alexandria behind we arrive to Alamein. There we visit
the Museum and the II World War memorial. (lunch en route) Moving on, we
pass by Marsa Matruh. Upon reaching Siwa, we tour the old Siwan Village
of Shali, Dinner & overnight in hotel.

Day 4:
After Breakfast we visit Cleopatra’s Spring, Mountain of the Dead, Alexander
the Great Temple (Temple of the Oracle), (lunch in restaurant) and take a
donkey-drawn cart for a tour around the city before heading off road to the
Great Sand Sea where we have dinner and relax while looking at the stars,
overnight camping.

Day 5:
After Breakfast we head off road on a 400-km journey to Bahariya Oasis. We pass by Bahrein, Nawemisa and Sitra Oases. We visit Roman catacombs and pass through magnificent sand dunes of the Great Sand Sea. Picnic lunch, upon reaching Bahariya, we check in our hotel, Dinner & Overnight.

Day 6:
Breakfast In Bahariya, we tour the city; visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Tombs of the Nobles, the Golden Mummies and the English Mountain. Lunch en route, On reaching the White Desert, we start exploring the formations and wind carved sculptors that resemble both Human and Animal Faces, we explore the formations that resemble the surface of a different planet. The night is spent in Farafra hotel, Dinner

Day 7:
After breakfast we go off road to the “Black Desert” and the dune area. We start
our climb of a 50meter dune. On route to Bahariya we visit the Crystal
Mountain and the Area of the Wonders with the Desert Roses and the Arch.,
After lunch we head towards Cairo, upon reaching cairo we check in our hotel,
Dinner & overnight.

Day 8:
After breakfast transfer to Cairo Airport. And assistance for final departure.

Sinai Sahara ( SEDP01 )
 

Highlights:
• Cairo, Taba & Coloured Canyon

Day 1:
Leaving Cairo behind, we head of to the town of Taba, where the rest of the
Day is spent relaxing and swimming in the Bedouin village of Tarabeen. Lodge for
The night. Dinner.

Day 2:
After breakfast we take our 4WD cars to the desert to a point where we park and
continue on foot in the narrow Coloured Canyon. Our cars meet us to continue
the route to our campsite in the isolated Oasis of Ain Hudra, We bathe in the
cold spring and enjoy a barbecue meal and camp.

Day 3:
Today we continue our off road drive to the Oasis of Bir Saghir. We reach the
coast of Abou Galloum “National Park”, and enjoy swimming, We end our day
with a Bedouin night & Dinner, Camping under the stars.

Day 4:
Leaving the cars behind, we load our Camels and start en route to Dahab’s Blue
Hole, We snorkel and camp in a lodge in the Bedouin village of Assalah

Day 5:
This morning we take our 4WD cars to Ras Mohamed “National Park”, one of
The best diving and snorkeling locations in the world. With our snorkeling guide
We explore the locations most interesting reefs and fish. For those not interested
In snorkeling we offer some of Egypt’s most spectacular beaches. Later we Check
In our hote, dinner and overnight.

Day 6:
An early start takes us to the jetty of Sharm El Sheikh. A 3hr-yacht trip takes us
to Tiran Island Reefs. Upon our arrival we listen to a briefing from our snorkeling
guide and hit the water, We explore the semi sunken wrecks as well as the reef
system - Lunch is served onboard the yacht, later in the day we return to the jetty.
For those not interested in the Sea, we alternatively offer a quad runner
adventure, in which we visit some of the Sinai deserts most interesting locations.
The rest of the day free before dinner & overnight in hotel.

Day 7:
The day is spent on the beach, Leaving Sharm El Sheikh, we return to Cairo,
Dinner & overnight at our hotel.

Day 8:
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport and assistance for final departure.

Sinai Camel and Trekking Safari

Day 1
Upon arrival Meet by our Representative and Assistance through Customs, transfer to our hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Dinner & Overnight.

Day 2
Breakfast In Sharm and later we start our drive towards Nabq “National Park” so called “ The Forest of Mangroves” have lunch and continue to St. Catherine, Dinner & Overnight in St. Catherine Lodge.

Day 3
We start with an early climb of Mont Moses and enjoy the “Sun Rise”, after descending the mountain we visit St. Catherine Monastery after Lunch we meet with our Camel Caravan and ride to visit the Rocks of Inscriptions, continue through Wadi Hagag till reaching Ain Hudra, Dinner & Overnight Camping.

Day 4
After breakfast we move towards Wadi Hudra till reaching Al Farsh continue trekking through Wadi Medilla & Wadi el Khala till reaching Mont Berga Dinner and Overnight Camping under the Stars.

Day 5
Today we continue our Camel Trekk through Wadi Zalaga, Dinner and overnight Camping in Ain Um Ahmed.

Day 6
We Continue walking along the steam of Water till reaching Wadi Agoula, Dinner & Overnight Camping.

Day 7
We take back our Jeep Cars and drive through Wadi Al Masri, hike through the Colored Canyon, then drive to Nuweiba where we have the possibility of snorkeling, have lunch and later we head back to Sharm El Sheikh, Dinner & Overnight in Hotel.

Day 8
After breakfast transfer to Sharm airport and assistance for final departure.

North Coast of Egypt
Cairo-Alexandria-Marsa Matrouh-Siwa-Cairo

Day 1:
Arrival Cairo, meet by our representative for assistance through customs and immigration formalities, transfer to Alexandria, upon arrival we check in our hotel - dinner and overnight.

Breakfast, then we start visiting the Roman Museum, Catacombs, Pilar, Library of Alexandria, lunch in Restaurant, the evening is spent touring the city. Dinner and overnight hotel.
 

Day 3:
After breakfast, we leave Alexandria behind, we arrive to Alamein 60-km. There
We visit the Museum and the II World War memorial, Moving on, we reach
Marsa Matrouh we check in our hotel- Dinner and overnight.
 

Day 4:
Today is spent on Leisure enjoying the marvelous beach of Marsa Matrouh
( Half board accomodation ).

Day 5:
After breakfast we head towards Siwa Oases, upon arrival we tour the city, have
lunch – later we head off road 17-km to the Great Sand Sea, where we enjoy
the magnifecent Sand Dunes, dinner and relax while looking at the stars,
overnight camping.
 

Day 6:
Breakfast then we head back to Siwa, upon arrival we start visiting Cleopatra’s
Spring, Mountain of the Dead, Alexander the Great Temple (Temple of the
Oracle), lunch in restaurant, we later check in our hotel - dinner and overnight.
 

Day 7:
After breakfast, start heading back to Cairo – lunch en route, upon arrival we check in hotel - Dinner and overnight.

Day 8:
After breakfast transfer to Cairo Airport, and assistance for final departure.

Golden Mummies Exploration

Day 1:
Arrival Cairo meet and assist by our Representative for Entry Visa, transfer to
Our hotel, Overnight.

Day 2:
After breakfast we leave Cairo behind, we start a 370-km on road to Barariya
Oasis. Upon reaching Bahareya, we check in our hotel, tour the city, have
Lunch, Later we visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, Tombs of the Nobles
and the English Mountain. We join a Camel Caravan for one hour, later have
dinner in our hotel & Overnight.

Day 3:
After breakfast we go off road to the Black Desert and the dune area. We start our
climb of a 50meter dune. On route to Farafra we visit the Crystal Mountain, the
area of the wonders with the Desert Roses and the Arch. Moving on we head to
the White Desert 160km. On reaching the White Desert, we start exploring the
formations and wind carved sculptors that resemble both Human and Animal
faces. We explore the formations that resemble the surface of a different planet.
The night is spent in the Desert ( Camping & Dinner ).

Day 4:
Reaching Farafra Oasis we visit the city, visit the Local Museum, Then move on
to Dakhla oasis 230km, Upon reaching Dakhla, we visit the Old Covered City,
with its oil press, school, courthouse and dwelling chambers, Muzzawaka
“external” & Deir el Haggar, have lunch, check into our hotel, Dinner and
overnight.

Day 5:
Leaving Dakhla behind, we head to Kharga. 190km - 100 km before Kaharga, we
head off road to Kasr El Labakha roman area, and explore the dwellings area, the
Temple, and the spring. Lunch picnic reaching Kharga Oasis we check in our
hotel Dinner and overnight..

Day 6:
In Kharga, we visit El Bagawat Cemetery, visit of Hibis Temple “external”
and the Museum, have lunch - The night is spent in Kharga, Dinner in hotel.

Day 7:
From Kharga we head to Baris 55km we visit the Temple of Dush, picnic lunch
and later on we head to Luxor 300Km, upon arrival we visit Karnak & Luxor
Temples, check in our hotel, Dinner & overnight.

Day 8:
After breakfast transfer to Luxor Airport and assistance for final departure.

Heart of Sinai

Highlights:

Day 1:
Arrival Cairo, assistance at Cairo Airport and transfer to our Hotel, Overnight.

Day 2:
After Breakfast, we leave Cairo behind, An early start takes us to the fortpoint,
Moses spring, Hammam Faroun, picnic lunch at Wadi El Tayeba then arrive to
The fisherman’s city of Abou Zeniema, in which we head off road to the area
Of Sarabit El Khadem, Dinner & overnight camping.

Day 3:
After breakfast, passing by the ancient mining cites, colorful mountains and
heaps of sand to finaly reach the Mountain of Sarabit. We park our cars and
start our 1 hr climb to the summit of the mountain to reach the ancient
Egyptian Temple of Hathor ( the Goddess Protector of the Mines of
Turquoise) - have lunch, we tour the Temple and later on visit the ancient
Turquoise Mines, Upon our decent we reach the site of our Bedouin camp
dinner and overnight.

Day 4:
After breakfast, we start crossing through the heart of Sinai to reach St.
Catherine, Waking up at 12 pm we start our trip to Mount Moses, reaching the
area, we Start our 3-hour climb of the 2000 m high mountain. We enjoy the
sunrise from One of the highest summits of Sinai. Upon our decent we visit the
St.Catherine’s Monastery, have lunch, then proceed to Wadi Ghazala, dinner &
overnight camping at Ain Hodra.

Day 5:
After breakfast, driving in Wadi Ghazala takes us to a point where one is forced
To leave ones’ car and continue on foot, Passing under and over boulders,
Through narrow Canyons which barley fit one person, we reach the other side of
The Canyon - have lunch, later we head to Taba, visit Salah El Din Fortress and
back to Nuweiba, Dinner & overnight camping on the beautifull beaches of
Nuweiba.

Day 6:
After breakfast we start driving from Nuweiba till Ras Abou Galloum,
trekking till the Blue Hole snorkeling and enjoying our picnic lunch, camping at
Dahab “Wadi Genay”, dinner & overnight.

Day 7:
After breakfast we start heading to Sharm El Sheikh, visit Neama Bay, later arrive
to Ras Mohamed “National Park”, lunch on the beach, later we start heading
back to Cairo, check in our hotel Dinner & Overnight.

Day 8:
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport and assistance for final departure.

Early Departure from Cairo to the road of Fayoum , 43 km from Cairo , we start our desert track going to the old Roman ruins of Qasr el Sagha and Dimeh ( 60 km ), we visit Lake Qaroun . Proceed to the National park of Wadi Rayan where we visit the Water Falls & the Wales Cemetery – have Lunch, later we start heading back to Cairo ( 130 km ).

Departure from Cairo to start our desert track by our Jeep Cars to Explore the Egyptian Sahara, there we will find “the Camels waiting for us” to take us for a ride, Lunch at Sakkara, later we head back to our hotel.

Lunch/Cairo

Early Departure from Cairo to start our desert track using Bahariya road till reaching Al “Wahat Al Mondathera” means the “Vanishing Oases” 180-KM, there we start exploring the ruins of the Oases, the “ Santa Trees “ , famous for petrified remains of Trees and Animals, enjoy a picnic lunch in the Desert, Later we start heading back towards Cairo.

We start our 370km journey to the White & Black Desert, Lunch Boxes en route - visiting the wonders & the mushroom areas, we reach the white Desert and start exploring the Wild Formations that looks like Animals and Human Faces. Dinner and overnight Camping under the stars. The second day we head back to Bahariya Oases, we visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Tombs of the Nobles, and the Museum of the Golden Mummies, have lunch and later we start heading back to Cairo.

Early Departure from Cairo to start our desert track ( 43km ) to visit the old Roman Ruins of Qasr el Sagha and Dimeh ( 60 km ), The Local Museum & Lake Qaroun, we continue to the National park of Wadi rayan where we visit the water falls, have lunch - later we head off road, Camping & overnight in the Desert. The second day we visit the Wales Cemetary, have Lunch and later start heading back o Cairo.

Early Departure from Cairo to start our desert track till reaching Al “Wahat Al Mondathera” means the “Vanishing Oases” 180-KM, there we start exploring the ruins of the Oases, the “ Santa Trees “ , famous for petrified remains of Trees and Animals, enjoy a picnic lunch in the Desert, Dinner and overnight Camping. After breakfast we start heading back to Cairo- picnic lunch en route.

Leaving Cairo behind, we arrive to Alamein. There we visit the WWII Museum and the War memorial. (lunch en route), upon reaching Siwa, we tour the old Siwan village of Shali, Dinner & overnight at our hotel, The second day we visit Cleopatra’s Spring, Mountain of the Dead, Alexander the Great Temple (Temple of the Oracle), (lunch in restaurant) and take a donkey- drawn cart for a tour around the city before heading off road to the Great Sand Sea, We enjoy a Bedouin Tea, later we prepare our Campsite, Dinner & Overnight. – The third day we continue enjoying an early breakfast in the mysterious deserts of Egypt and later we start heading back to cairo, passing by Marsa Matrouh ” North Coast of Egypt” for lunch.

Leaving Cairo behind, we start our 370km journey to Bahariya Oasis, we tour the city; visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Tombs of the Nobles, the Golden Mummies Museum and the English mountain, Dinner & overnight at our Hotel. – The second day we continue our trip by heading towards the White Desert passing by the Arch of “Agabat”, visiting the wonders & the mushroom areas, we reach the white Desert and start exploring the Wild Formations that looks like Animals and Human Faces. Dinner and overnight Camping under the stars. Our Adventure continues as we will have more things to be explored “ the Black Desert and the Crystal Mountain “, have lunch at Bahariya and head back to Cairo.

Early departure from Cairo to cross the tunnel of Ahmed Hamdi passing under the Canal of Suez, reaching Abou Zneima, we head for 63-KM on track to Sarabit El Khadem where we stop for lunch, we visit the Temple of Hathor Goddess & the Mines of Turquoise, later we start heading towards St. Catherine, Dinner & Overnight in St. Catherine Lodge.


The Second day “early in the morning” we ascend the Mont Moses to watch the “Sunrise” and later we descend to visit the Monastry of St. Cathrine on the way back to Cairo, we visit the Monastry of the Nuns of Wadi Firan – picnic lunch en route.

Rallies

Based on its experience in handling rallies on the wild desert terrain, Travco has been chosen by JVD International, the organizing company of the Rally of the Pharaons, which marks its 23rd anniversary held under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism Mr. Zohair Garannah, as the official travel partner in the 2006 rally.
